Monday Night Drawing | Official Rules

Drawing: Every Monday at 7:30 p.m., or after the pre-bingo games are completed.
Ticket sales close: 7:15 p.m. every drawing night, even if the drawing takes place later.

1. Members only. You MUST be a current member in good standing of Louisville Eagles #2374 to purchase tickets, participate, or win. Membership in another Eagles club alone does not qualify. Guests, nonmembers, and individuals with pending, expired, or suspended memberships are not eligible. Membership will be verified against club records.

2. Tickets are $1 each. Eligible members may purchase as many tickets as they wish. Tickets must be paid for and deposited in the designated drawing container before the 7:15 p.m. cutoff. Tickets are valid for the scheduled drawing for which they were sold, including tickets purchased in advance during an extended sales period. Tickets do not carry over after that drawing night.

3. Your ticket name MUST match your official membership receipt EXACTLY - including middle initials. Print clearly and include any suffix appearing on your receipt. Do not substitute a nickname, omit a middle initial, or use someone else's name. Only one member's name is permitted per ticket. Every ticket must also include one chosen, available card number. A telephone number is optional. Members are responsible for checking their tickets before submitting them.

4. Invalid tickets cannot win. Tickets with missing or illegible required information, names that do not match the official membership receipt, multiple names, or evidence of tampering are void. If an invalid ticket is drawn, another ticket will be drawn. Tickets cannot be transferred to another person after submission.

5. The first drawing determines whose chosen card is opened. One valid ticket will be drawn at random. After eligibility is verified, the card number written on that ticket will be opened. The first winner does not have to be present.

   First-drawing prizes

   • Queen of Hearts: 80% of jackpot if the winner is present; 50% of jackpot if the winner is absent.

   • Either Joker: $150 total if the winner is present; $100 total if the winner is absent.

   • Any other card: $100 if the winner is present; $50 if the winner is absent.

   The Joker prize includes an additional $50 above the regular non-Queen prize. A Queen of Hearts winner receives the applicable jackpot percentage; the regular non-Queen prize is not added.

6. A chosen card number is REQUIRED on EVERY ticket. This requirement applies whether the member is present or absent. The number must clearly identify one unopened card on the board. If no card number is written on the ticket, the ticket is invalid, no prize is awarded to that ticket, and a new ticket will be drawn. Tickets listing an unreadable number, more than one number, or an unavailable card number are also invalid. The number written on the winning ticket determines which card is opened; it cannot be selected or changed after the ticket is drawn.

7. "Present" means personally present. To qualify for a present-winner payout, the named member must be on club premises when their ticket is drawn and report to the drawing official within three minutes after their name is announced. A spouse, friend, or other representative cannot establish presence for the winner. Arriving after the ticket is drawn does not qualify. A first winner who does not meet these presence requirements receives the applicable absent-winner payout.

8. A $300 second-chance drawing takes place every Monday drawing night - even when the Queen of Hearts is found. The second-chance winner MUST be present, as defined above. If an absent member's ticket is drawn, that ticket is set aside and another is drawn until an eligible member who is present wins. This is a separate $300 cash prize and does not include a card selection.

9. Second-chance ticket eligibility. The first winning ticket is removed before the second-chance drawing. All other valid tickets for that drawing night remain eligible. The first winner may also win the second-chance prize if another of their tickets is drawn and they are present.

10. The board continues until the Queen is found. Each new board contains 54 concealed cards: 52 standard playing cards and two Jokers. Revealed cards remain visible and cannot be selected again. Revealing a Joker does not reset the board. When the Queen of Hearts is revealed, that board ends.

11. Jackpot amounts are updated every Tuesday for the following Monday's drawing. Once posted, the jackpot is fixed for that scheduled drawing. All ticket money collected after that jackpot is posted goes toward the subsequent Monday's jackpot - not the upcoming drawing's already-posted jackpot. Those collections are added when the jackpot is updated on Tuesday after the drawing.

    The tickets themselves remain eligible for the drawing for which they were purchased; only the addition of their proceeds to the jackpot is delayed.

    When the Queen of Hearts is found, the remaining 20% if the winner is present, or 50% if the winner is absent, starts the pot for the next board. Ticket money collected since the previous jackpot was posted is added at the Tuesday update for the next Monday's drawing on the new board.

12. Prize verification and payment. Winners who are present must show their valid Louisville Eagles #2374 membership receipt at the time of the drawing. Absent first winners must provide their valid membership receipt before payment. Photo identification is required when tax forms must be completed or at the discretion of the Aerie Trustees. Required tax documentation must be completed before payment, and legally required withholding will apply. An absent first winner will be contacted using the information supplied on their ticket or in club records.

13. Drawing administration. Designated club officials will conduct the drawings, verify eligibility, and record the winning tickets, revealed cards, and payouts. The board and tickets will be secured between drawings. Tickets for each drawing period will be retired after both drawings, with winning tickets and required records retained.

14. Rules and prize amounts are subject to change. These rules and the non-Queen prize amounts for the first and second drawings are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Aerie Trustees. Any changes will be communicated before the drawing takes place. Changes will not affect prizes already validly won. Any postponed drawing and revised schedule will be announced to members. Disputes will be reviewed by the Aerie Trustees under the posted rules and applicable law.

Acceptance of rules. By purchasing a ticket, the participant acknowledges the opportunity to review these Official Rules and agrees to be bound by them, including amendments communicated before the applicable drawing under Rule 14, subject to applicable law.
